Linda's Story

Linda enrolled in the WIOA-AP program in June of 2021. Linda was eligible for the WIOA-AP program due to being enrolled in FoodShare. Shortly after enrollment, CP and Linda established a career goal of becoming a medical sonographer. Linda enrolled in Chippewa Valley Technical College for the fall 2021 semester for Medical Sonography. CP assisted Linda with schooling by providing funding for her tuition along with support fees for school, textbooks, uniform items, exam registration fees, as well as paying for her state board fees. Linda officially graduated from CVTC on August 5th an successfully passed her state boards obtaining her official license as a medical sonographer. On May 5th, Linda officially started employment as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. She works full time and receives $35.00 an hour with full benefits.
