Dislocated Worker Information Session Recap

We are particularly proud that on April 4, 2023, Deb Nichols, Director of Businesses Services for the West Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board led the Rapid Response Team (RRT) handled a session at HTI, assisting 17 affected employees with job placement services. In total 60 affected employees have been served by the RRT. The last day of the WARN notice is May 6; the RRT will host another Dislocated Worker Information Session on May 10 at the Eau Claire Job Center.  DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek came to hold a celebratory and news attended event held inside the Eau Claire Job Center to bring attention to the good work done by the RR Team.  Secretary Amy Pechacek and West Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board CEO Jon Menz gave inspirational speeches and live television interviews.
