Internships are an important way for you to connect with employers and try out jobs or industries before committing. During an internship, you’ll better understand what a job entails while advancing your skills, learning how to nail the interview, and working as a team.

Youth Training Programs are available to eligible students or youth who have not completed high school. Through this program, we can help you to finish high school, earn your GED, or complete additional training.

Youth Apprenticeships are a bridge between school and full-time employment. You receive training specific to your new job when you’re an apprentice. Training will typically involve a combination of coursework and hands-on training. As a bonus, you usually get paid to apprentice, so it’s like being paid to go to school.

Academic Career Planning is a part of the curriculum in Wisconsin public schools, so you should have been exposed to careers and education opportunities in school. If you have more questions or feel like you didn’t learn enough about your options, our career coaches are happy to work with you to identify what you’re interested in and the steps you need to take to reach your goals.  

Career & Technical Education options are available at schools throughout Wisconsin and can prepare you for post-secondary education and career success.
